Supporting the strategic development of the national research agenda
in healthcare-associated infection (HCAI) research.
Welcome to the National HCAI Research Network. Funded by the
Department of Health (DH) and hosted by Thames Valley University, the
Network has been created to contribute to the strategic development
of the United Kingdom's national HCAI research agenda and to support
and manage Department funded HCAI-related research.
The Network also hosts and co-ordinates the DH's antimicrobial resistance
and healthcare associated infection Service
User's Research Forum (SURF). SURF
provides a forum for members of the public to find out more about
HCAI research and supports their involvement by ensuring they are
able
to make a valid and meaningful contribution to the research process.
